Monte Carlo methods have become a standard tool in virtually all branches of Engineering and Science and researchers across different fields continue to develop a large variety of simulation techniques designed to address important problems in their disciplines. The purpose of this workshop is to discuss theoretical developments in Monte Carlo methods studied in various scientific fields. This year's workshop will address recent advances in the analysis of Monte Carlo methods in areas such as Computer Science, Statistics and Operations Research discussed by leading researchers in these fields. The program is organized in order to have ample opportunity for discussions.
